CAS, established in 1998 by SASAOKA Takashi and some other volunteers, has held various exhibitions, lectures and symposiums including international exchanges which mainly introduce experimental works. In 2001 it was certified as a NPO institution.
CAS has produced a variety o opportunity for people to join in actual art scene, freeing from conventional barriers in artists to make, galleries or museums to show, and audience to see, based on a policy of social contribution which is an essential effect of art itself.
The exbition "Pilot Plant - Artists in CAS" mostly introduces the substantial activity of CAS. Nien regular members of CAS : SASAOKA Takashi, SHIBATA Yuri, TOYOSHIMA Yasuko, SAWANOBORI Kyoko, INAGAKI Tomoko, MIYANAGA Aiko, YAMAMOTO Kaori ,TUKAMOTO Yasuko and OTA Takamitsu in CASO. Literally, it will turn to become an attractive factory where experimental process of art happens.
At a time of the exhibition, various events are scheduled; Artists Tatk and performance of participating artists.
